About me: I am originally from the Twin Cities and moved to Portland in 2010. I love living in the Pacific Northwest! I enjoy animals, concerts, dancing, and relaxing at home.
Why do I do this? Massage and Craniosacral therapy are so helpful for managing my own chronic pain and headaches, more so than any other treatment I've tried over the years. I love to help others also find a better, more natural approach to healing their bodies and feeling better. I want to share the importance of self-care!
My approach: I am committed to holding space for you and to facilitate your body's ability to heal. I do not see myself as a healer, rather a facilitator. I will tailor the session to what you need on that day, at that time. Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, Craniosacral/Somato Emotional Release (CST/SER), cupping or gua sha (which can result in skin discoloration), and KT tape may be incorporated.
Training: 2013 graduate of 800-hour accredited program at East West College of the Healing Arts, Portland, OR. I have also completed continuing education courses CS1, CS2, and SER1, SER2 with the Upledger Institute. I follow state regulations by the Oregon Board of Massage to maintain my professional license.
